Creating A Vision For Perth Arts & Culture Industries - Have Your Say

Perth Waterfront Development Plans

Recently I attended ‘Create a Vision for Arts & Culture for Perth’ workshop run by the Committee for Perth. The day was exhausting but inspiring with nearly 200 artists and arts related industry members discussed ideas to create a greater vibrancy in our art and culture industries.

Ten major themes were developed on the day and I thought mystylelocal readers would like to view and comment.

The 10 major themes include:

Aurelio Costarella - Denmark Discovers

ac.JPG

Our fabulous Aurelio Costarella’s leather jacket was featured in a fashion shoot for Denmark’s ‘S’ Magazine.

This beautiful shoot was photographed by Enrique Badulescu and inspired by a fusion of discotheque, rainbow, pop lighting and luxe bordello. A Daft Punk, neon coloured show was the result.

His work also appears in ‘Clear Magazine’ in a sharp shoot called Silhouette styled by Zeina Esmail and photographed by Ishi.

I was only in POST on Saturday and this jacket is still available and on sale!

What is Fashion? What is Style?

we1.JPG

This article was composed for a conference I spoke at last Friday.

This feature will discuss how to identify your personal style, dress successfully for business and manage an effective wardrobe. This is also a chance to see some key spring/summer looks for 2008. Then I’ll show you how to transform them from the catwalk to your closet.

What is Fashion? What is Style?

Coco Chanel said “Fashion fades, only style remains the same.”

I say “fashion is what you see on the catwalks, in glossy magazines and in-store. These outlets provide the base to assist you in creating your own personal style”.
